The Keratin Straightening treatment can fix this.  Keratin is a protein found naturally in hair that can fill in gaps in hair cuticles that are cracked, dry or damaged.  The keratin treatment involves applying keratin to the hair to correct gaps and cracks, and then sealing it in with a flat iron.  The results can last about two to two and a half months.

ROCK RETRO FINGER WAVES WITH EASY TIPS FROM THE JON LORI SALON

The key to retro is to take a style from the past and make it your own in the present. And nothing says retro glam like iconic finger waves. If you love this look created by Redken Chromatics Artistic Advisor George Garcia, follow these steps along with Redken products to achieve it at home:

Step 1:

Start by applying aerate 08 bodifying cream-mousse through damp hair. Blow-dry using a medium sized round brush.

Step 2:

Work from bottom to top at the nape of the neck and back of your head. Spray hot sets 22 thermal setting mist to 1’’ sections and curl with a 1’’ iron starting at the root.

 

Step 3:

Take each curled subsection and rake with fingers for a back combing effect. Use bobby pins to secure hair into a faux bob.

Step 4:

With the remaining hair, create a deep side part. For the sides and crown, continue to work from bottom to top. Spray hot sets 22 thermal setting mist to 1’’ subsections of hair and use a Marcel Wave technique to curl each section, laying each section over the previous.

Step 5:

Finally, create an “S” pattern with a wide-tooth comb to unify waves. For a polished finish, lock-in shape with forceful 23 super strength finishing spray and layer with shine flash 02 glistening mist.
